I dont want to mess around with DF. I had a Kyosho F-16 EDF, but it didn`t realy fly too well.

I had the Kangaroo first, and I have an unbuilt Yellow Aircraft F-16, And then I have my Hotspot, which will have its maiden flight verry soon.

I have ordered a Superjet from Overflymodels.dk Ill have it in about 2 months time. Fairly cheap , and flys extremely well.

Although these are non-operational, I had to put them on. You can't have a scale model without fine details.
These have just been put in to see how they look, some more bending of the pipes is required i think and additional detail around the top of where the pipes enter the fuz etc.......
But you get the idea.

on the hawk, did you file down or cut out the slots where the fin and tailplane enters the fuz?

Your talking about the holes/slots needed to slip the 2 tail pieces into the fuselage right?

I installed a small drill into my dremmel, and cut out the openings to the correct size....and sanded it, so it fits perfectly.

kay!
i'll try to do that tomorrow. But it's difficult with one hand eversince Monday, when I slipped with a piece of metal, and it sliced deeply through the bottom, meaty part of my thumb. ow It's stiched and healing now, but i'm wary of it.
I was doing cockpit detailing, making seats, true scale dash etc... sprayed mat black, a true scale pilot. But need 2 hands to do this fine detail, so it's have to wait.
Have you got a simulator? try flying something fast one handed.
If you;ve got Aerofly pro, I've got some decent add ons, that i would send to you. Let me know and I'm send them tomorrow.

Cheers
Dave

I'm designing a prop jet along the lines of the GP Patriot.
For probaly electric power
Length 32"
Wingspan 27"
Foam fuz and foam core wings balsa sheeted.

Basic plans drawn up, but no real time as yet to go on with it. As back to school Monday, and the Hawk is crying out for attention.

hehe thanks, but I only have the Free FMS Simulator.

Better watch out for those fingers....they are the only ones you have :-)
I also hate when that happens.....restricts you alot sometimes :-)
I usualy keep working and bleeding all over the place.

BTW, if your looking for bad taste, look at these :-)
