I recently had two battery plug failures on my 4#3B batteries in the last 2 weeks... The wires on the plug end of the battery come loose from the plug.. Yesterdays incident happened while flying outside doing piro's at about 15 feet... The heli twitched a bit then fell out of the sky... luckily I was flying over grass and the only damage was to the tail.. I have a carbon stabilizer wing which broke off... other than that all is fine... The other instance was when the other battery was in my pocket.. I pulled it out and the end was off.. I hate to think what would have happened if the ends touched... I've had these batteries for about 6 months now and am hesitant to fly with the remaining 3 "good" ones... The batteries still work fine and I will install deans micro plugs on them now... at least I know the my solder skills are good... Anybody else have issues with these batteries or plugs?????? I am very careful not ot yank on the wires when charging or flying trying to disconnect the plugs...

have you trimmed off the nubs on the sides of the connectors? also, changing to micro deans is a major plus

No I haven't trimmed off the Nubs and wasn't planning to do so.... I would rather they were tight than loose... I will order a bunch of micro deans tonight... any good source for them that you know of?

once it's connected then you're good, i think you're degrading the connection buy having to pull so hard because of the nubs.
