Hey Brad... BTW... Let me know what you find under the covering.....
I have several ARCs instock and they are all SOLID... It was only the GONDOLA that had an issue on some of them.... Not a massive issue... Just needs the right adhesive in the GONDOLA... OTHERWISE She is solid!!

Hey there Tomas. Will do. She's going to be a pretty one when she's done, she'll end up going out to Ron's to be aluminum plated(?) so she looks like one brand new off the assembly line.

Hi Guys, I was going to put in 2 RCV 91s till one of them broke a connecting rod. I have 2 AXI 4130s I could use instead. Where are you putting your batteries?

I believe most are going boom mount, as there's not a lot of room left in the gondola, after you get everything else in there.

Me being me, am looking at the drop tanks. Hey they are fuel tanks aren't they?
Just have to build some type of release set up for them. Thinking maybe something like a prescription bottle uses. Push tab and turn to release. Will beat the heck out of cutting a hatch in the boom or having to take the wing off.

I did something similar on my big P47. I made the belly pan removeable. Installed the packs in it. Has a tongue/groove set up in the front and a home built spring latch in the rear. Just pop the latch and the pan drops down out, and there's the packs.

Putting together my flair/cmp mossie and the vq p38 began to call "build me, build me" in the soft husky voice of a woman with big breasts. So i'm hopping from one to the other as I assemble them as solving the problems for one often has direct relevance to the other. The twin engine function on the Tx being a good example. Still havent worked out how to make both engines cut though? Anyone know for a jr set ?

I'm putting 2 saito 62as in the P38 main reason against anything bigger was weight, expense (although there isnt a huge gap in prices) but most of all fuel consumption - I'd rather not be fretting about fuel as soon as i'm in the air. Initially I was going to put saito 82s in but was put off by remarks on how juicy they were elsewhere on RC universe.

Well got mine just about wrapped up. Dry fitted it together this weekend.

I modeled after the the "Super Strafer" variant, 12 guns, yes there was one, tail # 424649.
I found one photo of it.

I did cheat and move the gun pods inboard. On mine they are the pack carriers, so it was easier mount them there then on the removable wing tips.

I should have it all together this weekend, and get the insignias on as well.
