Josh what servos?? Also sounds like you need to take some of the travel out of them or get rid of any binding so they wil not strip.  I was going with Hitec but might try some cheaper ones from hobby king as I have had the same problem with the Hitec so might aswell try some cheaper ones and see how they fair!!!

Kroggs, I'm really not totally sure what went wrong but I will definitely use my metal gear corona servo from hobby king on this, it's way cheaper and that's what I'm using for my rudder, seems to be holding up good. I use those servos in everything other boats plans cars. Good stuff for the price.
Regards Josh

were using the Hitex 225 mg for the rudder and Hitex 82-85 for the carb. You want the lightest servo you can get. Battery I went to http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/

Kroggs, i'm not really sure how to do all them things yet cause I got one of those dx3r's with the screen an everything. I needed to study my manual an learn all those tricks about it.
Advanced Builder, thanks for the advice i will look into those servos.

Keep it from sinking is a fine line of balance and checking for leaks that dose not always work.

First put it in your test cell ( Bath tub) make sure you have no leaks in your radio box
try to get your motor and battery pack as far forward as you can with out changing your C/G
tape your radio box lid with good tape. Put your R/X in a balloon, rub a little vasaline on your servo seams also pack some in your rudder linage seal.
as you get your boat more dependable and running up on plan this won't happen as much
above all STOP swimming after your boat. fishing pole and a tennis ball works great.

Thanks for the advice Mike, I will start on the sealing process and checking to make sure everything's good, I only went swimming because all I had was a junk rid that wouldn't cast. So I didn't really have much of an option
Thanks Josh

The foam core is 1inch for the .21 also for the .12 the difference in width is the sheeting
