Mike, that's very good news.
I'm hoping that there will be a strong customer base in the USA. That will make good software even better as it will inspire and motivate the developers.

If I could have one wish: that there is a concentrated and collective push to make the TMD/TMG files transparent to users who wish to go that route. For me, the TMD file is where the value is for Aerofy. See my post "TMD file, the jewel in AFPD's crown" http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8840630/tm.htm.

I hoped to start a debate with that post; but as yet it hasn't happened. Perhaps now!
Best wishes to you, Mike, and to all.
Mike

Actually sad that Tower is new distributor of this product..

Seems Tower buys a competeting line then closes it out....

Tower has their Real Flight G series sims ..

They both have their advantages..

OK, Robby. So AFPD and RealFlight have each their advantages. But what are they?
Unfortunately I know nothing about RealFlight; only that I couldn't find anyone to sell it to me when I tried to buy it.

Tell me what is good about RealFlight and I'll try to say the same about AFPD.

My major disgruntlement with pretty much everything RC is that you rarely know where anything is made and who actually owns what company. I hate companies that calling them themselves "USA" are little more than importers of Chinese products. Wish they would just publicize the facts. Seems to much is "hidden" for me to put trust in anyone. Isn't there public records on these companies somewhere?

I love to buy "Made in USA" but most of what I can track down originates in China.
