Hello all,,, I accidently got some CA on my cub yellow monokote. It is more like a smear because i tried wiping it off. How can I remove it? Is there a solvent that will disolve the CA but not hurt the monokote?
Thanks,,

The 2 ways do work but why go through the expense of these products. wipe the area down with acetone, depending on how thick the CA is you may have to do it a few times.

The Debonder and Trim Solvent are acetone based so why not just use the base without all the other un-needed additives.

Laquer or dope thinner works well too.

I second Laquer thinner! It will remove any trace of CA or epoxy from monokote.

I baulked at the idea until I tried it. It's formulated to remove CA and does it quickly and safely. Pure acetone does not work as well.

Believe it or not, the correct solvent for cured Cya is nitromethane! Cuts it right off.
