can anyone tell me how to do a good paint job with a fade?

way back in 1997 I did this on my Losi XX.
its a no brainer really.
just spray one end of the body the color you want and mist it (spray from a distance, leave alot of extra room) where you want it to stop.
let that dry, then spray the other color.
let that dry, spray the inside of the body white to briten up the colors.

good luck!
if your not sure exactly what I mean, spray a peice of cardboard, or a piece of wood, or your driveway, your house, whatever, lol, first for some practice.

The way I do a fade is decide where you want the paint to end and put masking tape of your choice scotch whatever and leave the edge raised up about 1/4 " also mask off the area you dont want paint on. then spray over the raised edge not towards it,just in the direction over the edge and you should get a nice faded line,the hard part is if you want curved design's . To keep the raised edge up you might try putting folded paper under the mask to make a spring afect to keep it raised.
