Thinking about getting the Anderson 1/5 scale MX bike but would like to know from people who have bought it how good it is?

Was also looking at the ARX bike but it's one hell of an expensive alternative.

Cheers,

Nigel

Excellent bike I was playing with a modded M5 today head-to-head with my modded Ricky Carmichael (with an electric brushless motor gyro in the rear wheel). I totally recommend the M5 over the ARX-540.

Well big statement there !! but I just got to say a lot of guys out there saying that this bike is well ahead in handling to the ARX and a fraction of the price, I was so close to spending £800 on an ARX but to be honest I am sure the M5 is a better bike for me, 5700kv motor and direct steering make this a killer mx bike and only £ 225 bargain!!

I feel that the direct single-pivot steering and the lower center of gravity have a lot to do with the M5's great performance. With a brushless motor, the thing is ballistic.

The Anderson isn't available in the US just yet. You'll have to order from overseas right now if you want one.

Looks like it's due to be released through Duratrax as the DX450. Go to Tower Hobbies and put DX450 in the search bar. You'll find probably every replacement part due in early to mid November. Just no listing on the bike itself yet...

Can't wait.

Dave

The M5 RTR pro is a very good bike it flys. Has a 3800 brushless motor with a 75 amp esc that really gets up and go's in this bike.

You can order them from here:

http://www.racing-cars.com/main.asp?sitepages=bike

Speak to Ade Bailey at Schumacher USA in Florida, he might be able to tell you if Schumacher are planning to distibute them in the States.
