No need for a "conversion" PCM is already built in.

First you need a PCM receiver. (R113iP is one model)

Then, in the menu you already found, change the setting to PCM.
After changing this, you need to turn the TX off then on before it takes effect.

The same crystals and module are used.

thanks.
but i got another question...
my module has the model number as FP-TJ-FM. since it finishes by FM, isn't that a FM module? or it is still as you said, i only need to change the receiver? and the crystals there's only one in my receiver side and not in my module. is that normal?
i'm quite new into this radio stuff...

PCM is also sent via FM. No module change needed.

There is a crystal in your module, you just cant see it.

My father's 3PJ is so sick, I kept offering to buy it off him and he refuses. I'm sure it has PCM since I don't recall seeing a crystal on it and he uses it on two of his elec cars and nitro truck. That radio is so much nicer than my newly obtained 3PDF.

The FM and PCM radios use the exact same crystal. It is inside the TJ module.

So, do I understand correctly that by changing that setting, we can use the 3PJ with any synthesized receiver?
