Anybody run more than 6 cells with a SRooster in this truck. I have a pair of 20t in parallel in my Wild Dagger and the Tech guy at Novak said it would be safe to run with 10 cells. I'd love to see the look on the other guy's face as my Wild Dagger passes their E-maxx. Just haven't had time to figure out how to mount the extra cells.

ha actually it was 23 degrees which is also common from what I read. lol I wonder what a clodzilla scores???? [/QUOTE]

Well, Mudcow (a modified Clodbuster owned by JK, check it out at http://www.mudcow.com ) would score 1899 on a 23 degree ramp. My new TXT-1 scores 2047! woo!

Lifting one wheel so that the lowest point is 12" off the ground with the 3 other wheels touching the ground is impossible to acheive with a Clod , Jugg or a TXT (that isn't running wheel wideners). The axles simply aren't wide enough. Measuring RTI on these little trucks is far from an exact science...

If I lift diagonally opposite wheels, the MudCow easily gets 12"+ articulation which equates to an RTI of 1720+ on a 30 deg ramp or 2200+ on a 23 deg ramp.

RTI really doesn't say too much about your truck, especially once suspensions get as flexy at the trucks we have. A balanced suspension and low CoG is far more important for a good crawler.

all of which I have, You forgot lots of torque!

It's been awhile since I have driven the truck, it's back home in Alaska and I'm in Hawaii until Christmas. I didnt bring it cause I don't have time for it down here, I'm too busy working on my mopeds here in hawaii. Yes I said mopeds! But a moped that is 70cc and goes 70mph Hope all you guys are still having fun with your trucks.

i had a ysr50 registered as a moped before, it went about 65. and theres no way to get a moped thats 70cc registered as anything but a motorcycle, unless you just punched it out and told noone at the dmv about it.

Yup, I bought the bike and it had the 50cc original motor, then registered it and then put the new motor on. Here in Hawaii modifying mopeds is really popular, usually the cops dont bother you as long as you aren't being too stupid. The most popular thing is to take honda mopeds and put on stroker motors. Some of them go up to 125cc on something that weighs about 130lbs. Those guys are getting up to 95mph! and out accelerate most cars! Down here once the moped is registered the DMV never has to see it again. But if a cop wants to he can give you a $500 fine for driving a modified ped.
