I just ordered my SM F-104. This is the scheme I am leaning towards. I'm a bit concerned that it'll be difficult to see, but I love the pattern.

Hey Dantley,

If you have difficulty seeing a 10 foot long missile streaking thru the sky, it must be because you're flying to damn "rigorous" again! : )

Gorgeous scheme, can't wait to see it!

Dantley, your F-104 is going to be something to see. I am going to have to make a special trip out to see you fly it when you get it up and running. I actually think your scheme should be easy to see with the contrasting gray and olive drab/yellow/white combo. With the leading edge flaps, details, presence... this kit/ARF is truly something else.

dubd -> RE: Skymaster ARF Plus 1:5 scale F-104G (8/11/2012 12:22 AM)

Eddie, I hope the colors allow me to see the profile of the plane. I'm sure I'll have it at the next rally at Lodi. :)

Anybody flying the plane yet ? Experiences ?

Wonder what size of turbine would be the best fit. A Rhino or a Mammoth.....

With the size of the wings, would this plance benefit of a gyro ?

the Roland 's F-104 was our first F-104 customer, who just finished maiden flight by 17kg thrust turbine last weekend at German Master.

Beautiful plane.....

No videos of the event ?

I was looking at the manual and it says that a gyro is recommended. Is this a must ?

I'm interested to know how the 17 kg turbine worked on this plane.
