Has anyone tried finishing with SpectraChrome or similar. My favorite of all the schemes is the polished aluminum USAF like the bird in the movie "The Right Stuff". The equipment is very expensive so DIY doesn't seem realistic but this would seem to be a great application to achieve that mirror finish.

Hi RoLand or Anton
I am in the process of setting my 104 up and would to clarify how you are measuring the movements. You say 11mm and 17mm for the slats. Is this measured at the root or the tip of the slat. Likewise for the ailerons and flaps, is it the root or tip of each surface?

For the elevator, i assume its the rearmost part of the elevator, in the middle?

Thanks.

Geoff.

Hi Geoff,
slats and flaps movements measured at the root
movements aileron (flaps-aileron position)
elevator 0 point position go back to site 8
elevater high position 5,2 cm (end of the elevator) + 6 mm with slats/flaps
The new thrust pipe are bigger
Position root to pipe 8,5 cm (pictures site 8)

Here my Nr. 2 Starfighter (85% build ready)

Best regards

Roland

Thanks for that Roland,

Another question. on page 8, you state the CG position is 12cm back from the front of the wing. However, in the instructions Anton states 185mm in front of the rear hatch. I have measured both of these positions and can see that your position is a 50mm rearward of Antons, can you confirm this is correct?

Thanks
.
Geoff.

Really if you just take an F16 and replace the wings with the lower fins and than add T-33 wing tanks you have about the same thing. Just toooooo draggy an airframe for me.
A real cool color scheme would be the one Darrel Greenmeyer (sure I killed the last name) build back in the late 70's early 80's.
