Its easy to fly. I have not had a chance the dead stick it yet. The engine has not quit on me yet. Its a smooth flyer with no bad tendency's that I have found yet. I only have a few flights on mine.

What kind of flying are you doing? 3D, or just puttering around?

4* gets my vote. I hear clipping the wings makes her a lil more aerobatic (which sounds like what you are lookign for)

I got mine on the bench so I dont have first hand experience other than what I have read on here. 4* sounds like a perfect 2nd plane...

I voted for both the Funtana and 4*60. Hope this doesn't throw off you poll too much. I have both and have flown the 4*60 since last November. It is really a great plane and is very stable and easy to fly as a low wing aircraft. I put a OS91 Surpass on it and it is plenty of power. However, it is a little slow on the aerobatics especially the rolls. I did not clip the wings.

As for the Funtana, I just bought it last week and am just about finished with the construction. I am waiting a flight pack from my LHS before I can continue. I too am using the Saito 72 based on the threads in 3d on this website. A search on the name Funtana will get you to them. This plane is quite new and has not seen a lot of air time for everyone yet. I do know my LHS ordered 6 and they are all sold and others on the threads have indicated it is hard to get in some areas. I can't wait till mine is in the air. it is a great looking plane.

Both the Funtana and the 4* 60 are good planes, but if you go with the 4*, then I would suggest you purchase the kit, then build it leaving the last rib off on each wing. The Sig makes an excellent fist kit to build.
