you can attribute the crash to lack of experience on my part . i work at the school so thats why there was a bus there . i came in for a landing first one i had ever tried alone . i paniced and froze and hit the bus dang it LOL .... took me about six hours to fix the damage . its back together now so i can wreck it again

Well, it's a good thing you flew the plane after school hours anyway. You were flying after school was out, right? And there were no kids in the area, right? What happened after that? Did the bus garage find out? It's funny the kinds of questions an attorney can ask an R/C pilot after someone gets injured.

Man, it's a good thing kids weren't in that bus. You can't immagine the face of an angry parent, or what an angry parent can do to the hobby. All it would take maybe one (1) injured kid, and a bunch of angry parents: "Oh my gosh, that could have been Johnny!"

school has been out for the summer for almost a month so there was no one around but me and the guys i work with . we all work out of the bus shop so yes they know about it LOL .... the only time we fly from our shop is when there is no school .

there is no way any of us would fly when the kids are around its just to dangerous . they are always running all over the place getting into everything they shouldnt . we have to deal with them everyday breaking stuff . and going places they shouldnt . if we dont have it nailed down or locked down they will steal it of get into it . had a guy and a girl do things in a crawl space that only a guy and a girl can do LOL .

so basically i was being as safe as possible considering where i was flying at .

Well, it's good that you had some common sense and a bit of fun at the same time. And yes, I was a school bus driver at one time, so I know what kiddies are like. They get into more things then cats do!

A new window, and new prop/cowling (you obviously have that taken care of) and you're good to go....

Here is a good example of why not to pass the school bus when the stop sign is out. It is illegal in texas, and is very dangerous to the kids. No one is above the law.

Couldn't resist. Since I am in highschool.

I would think that passing a school bus stop arm when it's out would be illegal in any state, Combat Addict. Here in Minnesota, it's a $750.00 fine.

According to the supreme court boys and boys, and girls and girls can now do what only boys and girls used to do.

I think the fine for driving pass a school bus in Texas is Death LOL. Actually it is like 400 i think. Overall that didn't look like a bad crash. The expensive part is going to be the school bus repairs, unless u use ama.

I think that: "That", in realy one cool looking hole. I drove a school bus for a couple of years way back when and I never had a hole in mine like that - kinda looks like a cannon shot went thru it. Cool.

In Texas, CombatAddict, the penalty for eating a 20 pound ribeye and a 40 pound stack of back ribs is death by lethal closure of arteries!

(LOL)
