I just picked up a wonder with a os 28f heli engine.but im not sure about it.the guy said it pulled it around pretty good.but i have not flown it yet.I have a new evo 36 sitting around and it looks like it would drop right in.not sure how fast the wonders are but they look cool.so for this airframe and the evo 36.would a 8x5 or 8x6 prop be right?

Zero,

I know the plane, the 28 heli pulls it along just fine.
.28 heli is a .28SX with a large head on it.

fuel it and fly it!

If you need more speed I have a JETT .30 BSE FIRE that is new or low time Sport Jett .30 BSE

I've got one with a new 25 OS SX stock standard engine. See it fly at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UvYmoMZbh0
Just make sure you have a good colour contrast between top and bottom like mine on the video clip - or you may lose it - it is fast and can turn on a dime at full speed.
Happy flying

hey zero i have a wonder i've had for a few years now i have a norvel 25 on it and this screams it has been clocked on radar at 117 consitintly i have hit 120 to 125 depending on wind and humidity conditions. To put it mildly this plane is one of the most exsileratng planes i fly. Its a real knee knocking addrenalin pumping plane to fly. just don't let it get to far out on yea it will get away from you real fast. have fun and fly hard it will take it

There used to be a guy here who went by "piperchuck" and he must have posted photos of his K&B 3.5 Wonder.....at least 10,000 times....
.....anyway, someone like him with lots of hands on experience will get you dialed in.
I would set the CG at 25%....but that is just an estimate.

I think the 8-6 is a great choice for the .28 to let it spin. A piped .32 I recently fiddled with turns an APC 8-6 at 18,300 on the ground which put it a bit over the supposed hp peak, but for a muffled .28 sounds perfect. You'll get all the pull you could want out of the hand launch and respectable top speed. On the .36 perhaps try an 8-6 and 8-7, not sure that the 8-5 will do anything better for you than those two on the larger disp engine.

No problem, if was that inconvenient I would not have looked it up and posted it for you. But most of us will make tongue-in-cheek comment because a lot of people post questions where the answer would have showed up in less time than it takes to post the question again. If you had trouble finding it, that's cool - no offense meant.
