Scott,
The fues. is STIFF, unlike my old Twistarares in the 80's. There is no oil canning (doesn't look like my Dad's B-52s when the were new in '58.)
The belly pan will be a little lighter after triming to fit.

Hey Tim ,
Yea , I should have you make a splash of it ,even though there are a couple others here that have a short kit with one , I understand .
How long do you think it would take from when I give it to you ,if your really interested ? I can get it prepped and ready for paint and
let you know ,if your serious .PM me or send me an email . Did you see Bernie's new Crusader ? Looks great in the pics .

ChiefK,
I've seen a picture of one of Steve's Bootleggers that had a side exhaust engine and muffler, probably an early YS. I've also seen pictures of other's that used a side exhaust with pipe on the side of the fuse above the wing. One could probably side mount a side exhaust engine and run the pipe under the wing too, but it may take a pretty long throw header. If you don't want to go with a buried pipe, don't cut the top out aft of the canopy and use a full size firewall. You might still want to install the pipe tray for fuselage stiffness or use some formers to do the same.
