MyMonkey- I've heard good, I've heard bad. In all fairness, that seems to be the trend with any buggy that isn't sold in kit form for more than $550. Yes, it would be nice to have a $2000 buggy to 'play' around with - but for the average basher this is but a pipe dream. So, with that said I think the OFNA LX Pro isn't a bad choice for you. I've run three different OFNA's in the past few months (none of which I own) - the LX Pro, the 9.5 RTR and the Hyper 7 PBS. I have to admit I liked them all. Yes, the LX Pro is less expensive and some of its components certainly reflect this fact. But I had no complaints (neither did the owner) regarding durability. I also was impressed by the Force 25 engine. Not a bad little mill, and well suited for bashing. The only complaint the owner had was with the 6mm front dogbones. If I'm not mistaken (and you can confirm this on OFNA's message forum) these can be upgraded fairly cheaply to 8mm CVD's. Don't take my word on it, but I am 70% sure. I guess the 6mm are a bit weak and are prone to bending. The Tx could stand to be upgraded, but it did its job well enough. It really is a matter of getting what you pay for, but keep in mind that 'getting what you pay for' is spread out over performance, durability, quality, customer support, speed, electronics, etc. - not all of the above would necessarily suffer from low cost. For the money, it seems awfully tough to beat, but you may also want to consider the HB Lightning. I admit, I'm only mentioning it because I've heard very good things and not a lot of bad things, which is impressive for a first production run buggy, however I've never run one. AND some parts from the Kyosho 7.5 are interchangeable (sounds like good potential and readily available spares). For $350 it's worth considering. -SlingItX
