Status: offline 		Last week I got infected with the Klez worm. I've spent a lot of time getting rid of the thing. Also, I've installed Spybot and Ad-Aware. Since then, I've had trouble with RCU. Loading and scrolling is down to a crawl. Even typing messages is slow. The text doesn't display till a minute or more after I finish typing. Recently, I downloaded a pile of music. My C drive is 90% full but was only 4 Gigs. My D drive is good for 30 gigs and is only half full, so I don't think I've run out of memory. My PC is an HP Pavillion 4440 with an AMD-K66-2/333 processor. Bought four years ago,,, likely a dinosaur by now.

OR, something is amiss with my connection to RCU. Everything else works, no problems with any other websites.

Status: offline 		This has happened to a few people but after a rebuild or reload of their system the problem went away completely...this may fix it for you but we have some changes to the site coming which may also help

Status: offline 		Need a definition of rebuild or reload. I have an HP recovery disc but that thing wipes everything off and gives you a clean slate.

That is most likely what's causing it to be slow because it is trying to read all the html before it shows the page. I recently installed NetNanny on my pc to keep the kids out of stuff. With it running every website loads so slow it drives me nuts so I turn it off when I'm on the pc and everything loads like normal.
