Most high torque, large tired trucks are moderately capable in the now. Just be sure to take precautions regarding watetproofing.

look at the Traxxas electric trucks. All of them are electric exept for the MMM bl e-revo. I suggest looking at the E-Maxx, 1/16 e-revo, and maybe the Stampede VXl. The regular brushed e-revo will handle it great too.

I'm going to try running a summit with paddles this year but also hope to get my hands on a blizzard EP. They look like a blast.

I had my slash with paddles last year (just on the rear of course) and it doesn't work in deep powder snow. works ok on compacted snow.

thats why i plan to get some plastic an put it under the chassis to act like a sled so it stays on top of the snow an mold the front so that it cruves up an pushes the snow down an then have the paddles propell it through the snow.

im pretty sure its not going to work because i cant find any paddle tires with big enough paddles to grab enough snow to move the vehicle forward but i will give it a try anyway.

I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to burst your bubble.... I did have an issue with the proline paddle tires being cut by the body, had to trim the body around the rear wheels wells a bit more to prevent that. If you get a conversion to 17mm hex and mount 1/8 size paddles it might work??

That snow looks pretty packed to me, I don't think it would work that well on soft powder.

You don't even need a caption with that pic. If there's any rig to drive in the snow it would be that one haha

They were always available in both forms. I believe they sell for around $250 new.
