Yeah, them floors are a PAIN?? At any rate, your progress is excellent ... slow & steady. I like that. No major kinks or questions?? I had a nice discussion with a self taught slime heli dude from the Thompson CT area today, and he said he never crashed! (.30 size machine) He certainly had his share of tip-overs, scraped up's and chewed up main blades, but NO crashes. He also was an experienced "plank" flyer, so he knew not to let the heli get too far away so as to get disoriented and that sort of stuff. He said the biggest challenge (and I've learned thiis the hard way) was to not CUT the throttle when you think you're in a "situation", rather, throttle down a bit, depending on the situation, and at worst, let the machine SLOWLY sink rather than fall out of the sky!! He agrees with the "Radd Theory" of spending the first 20 or so flights / packs hovering nose out for three or four packs, then left side in for three or four, then right side in for three or four, etc. Get yourself really bored. THEN you can get into some figure 8 patterns, and fiddle around with forward flight. I'm getting long winded again ... damn, I do that well!! O.K., time to hit the hay, Chat soon, Russ
