Status: offline 		Hey everyone, long time no see! Good to see some new faces on the forum and in the pictures, glad everyone is having fun.

I'll probably be coming home from school on Martin Luther King day weekend (MLK day is on 1/16). Dennis, if it's at all possible could you try to arrange a race day that Sunday? I have been dying to get back on the track and seeing as I don't have an automobile at school it's hard for me to race. It would be really awesome to get back on the track and see everyone again.

Status: offline 		hey guys the name is ryan im currently looking at getting into rc cars.   im either getting the brushless 4x4 slash or brushless 2x4 slash.  Im still undecided more than likely it will be the 4x4.  Its good to know that there is somewhere close i can go though.  hopefully yall will start racing again soon so i can come out and watch and talk to you guys it may make my purchase easier.  be prepared to answer questions as i have no idea what im doing.

I've been to the Southside speedway track.  They have one small banked oval with a drivers stand.  They also have another small flat oval with a small jump in the center.  The last track is an offroad course with a few jumps.  The offroad course is on the small side as well and narrow.

My 4 year old son loved it and we had a good time for the day but judging from the videos the track in Powhatan is the better option if you have a slash.

We drove up to Awesome RC in Fredericksburg last weekend and they had a very nice track.  It took about an hour and a half to get there from chesterfield but it was well worth the trip.  Very wide track with a hobby shop onsite in case you need any parts.  They charge 10 bucks to use the track all day so it's more expensive than Southside speedway.  The slash seemed to be the most popular car on the track but they had a few 1/8 scale buggies and some other stuff as well.

We plan on making the trip down to RC pro raceway in Gloucester.  They have a spring race series that I may try out.  I have only seen pictures and video of the track but it looks on par with the track at Awesome RC.  They also have a hobby shop onsite.

Status: offline 		Hey Guys, here is my new track I started working on this weekend. I am in chester VA and hope to have some races starting in april. Right now I have the jumps spaced out for a brushless setup but I may modify for brushed as well soon.

Tons of work left to do but its a start
