Keep in mind that I'm still a tuning noob, and a relative nitro noob.
My hobby shop carries the Revo Resonator for $45, and my budget isn't much higher than that.  Maybe in the 60s at most.
I'll probably also be getting an OS engine sometime next year.
Anyway, should I go pick up that Resonator today or get something else?

DO yourself a favor and keep the stock pipe because it flows alot better then the revo pipe which makes for good top-end, plus it gives you decent low and mid-range power.  I myself had the traxxas revo 5490 pipe that I just got sold on ebay because it was choking the hell out of my O.S. .18tz motor.

I'm much happier mmgt pipe.....

All the guys at the hobby shop said that it sounded like a bad pipe...
Is there any pipe that would go good with an .18TZ, because I just screwed up my mod/port job on my sleeve a little bit so that gives me an excuse so now I can go get one.

And what gearing should I use?
I don't race officially, but I race friends and love going fast, but I still want good acceleration.  Any other things I should look into?
