The Losi XXl has been one of the funnest nitro trcuks I have ever had. The 454 engine is a beautiful running mill. Starts up every time and the power is really totally unreal. I have had to replace the output gear in it after 3 tanks. No problem take it out put a one in and off I'm running. I have a lot of Rc's but this XXL is truly addicting !

I have to say that I am not impressed with the after shock 2 speed
I ran my original one with the bearing in the middle for 4 years before it quit do to the teeth going sharp.
This new 2 speed set from an aftershock has given my nothing but a pain in the you know what!
Other then that the truck has been loads of fun

My LST2 2-speed - the SECOND one after replacing the first which was not working after like 8 tanks, is now acting up too.. My much much older LST2 basher has been problem-free.. Somnehow these new 2-speeds are garbage..

Weirdness.. Since when do people blow Losi diffs?? I wonder if there are just some quality lapses with the newer Losis.. Or I don't know, maybe the longer chassis flexes more, putting some weird strain on the diffs?? Diffs are one thing I feel I never have to worry about with my LST2's (and Muggy that I had..) I have three new diffs that've been sitting around in a bag forever - my LST2 - which I bought three years ago and broke in 2 1/2 years ago, has perfect diffs still.. Have only broken a pin.. Are you guys threadlocking the cases? When they "blow", how do they blow?

First diff I had the gears strip out. Second and Third diff I had the pin break. I got a riot act from people on here telling me I was the problem. Reason I bought it was it's durability, but when I was have trouble I was told it was the operator's fault. There was a hand full of us Losi XXL owners that all experienced the same defects. But we were still told that we were too hard on our trucks.
I still wouldn't trade it for anything. I just finished tearing my truck down and replacing parts. Cleaned it completely and it looks great. Just cycled the battery and might take it out this weekend.

If people are doing a lot of jumping though, and gassing it while landing, that would lead to blown diffs in any RC...
