Status: offline 		OK iam mad now i hate my AE MGT 3.0 nobody has any thing bad to say about it or there are not any problems with it . I mean mine runs great shifts great has great power , dose some wheelies on a good tune. And i was thinking of getting the AE MGT 4.6 next . I suppose that wont have any problems either.

Sounds like your mini is better than mine. The first day I owned mine the front and rear diffs broke and now, just two weeks and 1/2 gallon later, I think another one went. I'm not totally sure that’s what happened, but it appears to be. I'll tear it down tomorrow and give it a look. Team Associated replaced my first two under warranty but I hope this isn't a regular occurrence.

Status: offline 		it shouldent be a regular occurrence, i would still jump on AE and get the whole thing replaced myself. just a thought.

Status: offline 		Turns out it was just one of the set screws on the output cup on the front differential. I glanced at them quick the other day and they looked fine  but today I took an allen wrench to them and one was loose. I just took it out for a quick run and it seems to be running fine. It's already dark out so I didn't get a chance to really run it in, but I think everything is back to normal. I will get some blue loctite this weekend and loctite all of the set screws.

Status: offline 		I think u like the MGT very much. I would get the 8.0 and sell the engine on ebay. Get an LRP .28, .30 or P3 if you want some real power.

Status: offline 		Get the MGT 4.6 SE. Ive had mine for 3 years still box stock (except tires, body, and the forward only conversion). I raced at the glorcs finals (BIG RACE) and out of 17 trucks, all revo platniums, brushless revos, the best there are, the old mgt took 5th. Heres some pictures
