Recieved a box full of goodies yesterday! Thanks Noob! All looked good with everything. I had the chance to get all of my soldering done last night. Today I installed the 4200kv motor, 40amp esc and the hb730 gyro. I was able to program the esc with my hobbywing program card (nice feature) and then I set the throttle with my tx. As I went to start up the heli I heard the normal start up tones and then the song I had programmed played,so I was getting excited , and then all of a sudden my servos twitched and went to full negative and then I was getting a constant beeb.....beeb.....beeb. Now I have no power coming from the esc. So getting out test everything is on hold until I can figure out what happened. I seriously think it burnt itself up before it could even get going. I have absolutely no power coming from the esc. What do you think could of happened Noob?

Brian,   Make sure you program high and low stick for throttle.   check all solder points.   If the esc still makes beeps when plugged in then it is still functional in some way. I sent you a pm regarding this matter.
I will test this esc and motor today and see what I get.

Checked all solder connections and I have to say, probably my best soldering yet! Anyways, I guess I should have looked at the specs for this motor that you had posted Tuan. I think this motor needs to be on a 60amp esc. I also burnt out my hobbywing 40 amp opto with this motor. So, now I am grounded for a while. Tuan be careful with this motor, very powerful!!!!!

wow. that's really surprising.  its 450 watt.   I have run the scorpion #6 on my align 35x esc and it works beatifully.  the scorpion is 525 watt.

I have been busy wrenching on my Pro.  I had a nasty little wreck with it.    Its almost rebuilt so when that's done...I will fully test this esc and motor.   I will install the ubec as well in light of what happen to Augie.

Bench test with the motor using the esc and bec coming soon.  I will film the test. and report my findings. stay tuned.
