I have a 5000mah 30C 3S LiPo that I have had for a while sitting in my cupboard. About 4 months. I didnt charge it once from factory so it just stayed in storage mode the whole time. I had 3 others sitting with it (same batteries) which are all perfectly fine but this one isnt.

The cells will not balance properly. They are charging but 2 of the cells will not balance out to 4.20V. Is the battery dead? Should I discharge? I want to try to revive if I can.

Rarely will a lipo cell balance to exactly 4.2...........what are the voltages of all three cells? If they're all about the same, 4.14 for example, then you should be fine.
