Hey guys! I just finnished the assembly of my new katana v2 46 arf. In the package, I did not find a manual. So I wondered if anyone can help me with the cg location on this model? Also, on the box it says rtf weight is 1850 grams, my ended up on 2156 grams. Will My 46 2stroke be powerfull enough to hover this plane?

Contact OMP. They might be able to help with the cg.

Use a Xoar 12x4 on that 46. Should hover with some pullout. Start at 33% of wing cord including the ailerons for CG. Trim for level flight then invert. If it dives, nose heavy, if it climbs it's tail heavy.

Thanks for taking your time to help me I really dont understand why it came out at 2,2 kg. I used standard futaba servos for the ontrol surfaces, and a micro servo for the throttle, 9grams receiver and a 4,8v 1100 mah rx battery. So the weight is very strange I think.

Sorry but I have never seen an email from you regarding this question. So either wrong email or it is not getting through. Regardless though the CG for the old Katana would be as described above and around the 33% MAC location - as it is for almost all the funflys and aerobats. On the Kat46 that was about 5.25 inches back from the leading edge at the root.
