cool it really does look possible.... what engine/pipe is that?

you couldn't conceal the engine if you ran it upright though, right? no cooling.... i don't know if it would be worth it if the head stuck up... you just loose one way or the other

that is a Jett FIRE 50 shown there. Jett/Macs pipe

it would be hard to enclose the engine on the F-20. Lines of the plane do not work out that way. - just as well to let the cylinder out in the breeze.

Hi erik, fair few Aussies in the states that I chat with, but to answer your question I'm in Merrylands out near Parramatta

osborjr- yep erikpmort nailed it in one..shipping charges make it expensive being O/S as opposed to someone locally to you

Hi FBD, my F-4 runs a very healthy ST G90 turns a MA 12 X 8 at 12,600 last time I tached it, still not fully broken in ..though I haven't flown it in ages..my club has banned IC engines ..they have been looking for a new site to fly at..but no luck so far and it's almost been 3 months now since the ban!!!

well thats all they're letting fly at the moment..electric's..gee what a hassel one complaint can cause!!!
I started going through all the speed electric threads like the one about the vendetta etc ...even if I sold all the glow stuff , I might get one set up for high speed electrics but thats at a cost of about three or four other planes...electric speed is not cheap!!!..so I'll just wait it out till they find another field..or I'll find another club..

It is amazing how fast those electrics are, especially how heavy they are.

I thought about an electric, but I love the smell of castor in the morning !!

Quite frankly, I wouldn't trade my YS powered Dago Red for a whell barrow full
of electrics.

FBD.

Yeah Roj,

I'd be finding me another place to fly, might be easier to get those bronze wings too at another field.

Tony..
