I must have been a very good boy because Santa brought me a Jett BSE .50 for my DC F-20. Originally I wanted to use an O.S. .46VFDR and run the pipe through the fuse but there's not enough room. I'm thinking about rotating the engine with the head at about 200 deg. So that the muffler will tuck up closer to the fuse, a little left of center. Should help with the lateral balance too. Definitely going with retracts and full gear doors. I do have a couple of questions: *Is anyone using pneumatics other thatn the Spring Air retracts on the small F-20(/F-5)? *After all of the speed gain arguments, has anyone installed tail dragger gear? If you're trying to go fast, dropping that nose gear and the associated weight would be a good start. Before anyone complains that it wouldn't be scale. Go back to a 3-view of the full sized subject, neither the Cermark, Kange or DC are even close. *Has anyone used the Jett "Bubbleless" (Dave Griffe) tank. So that you could mount it on the CG preventing nose gear interference issues and keep the cylinder sideways. I'll post some pictures for you to enjoy. BTW - Dub said that there is no performance difference between the Jett .50 and the Jett BSE .50, they turn up exactly the same numbers. "You're paying for shiny", and I like shiny. Chris
