What specifically has your goat? Sure there are challenges at times, this isn't the type of hobby you can turn off your brain like watching tv. I've been looking for the right materials to make shelter halfs, tarps, and air recognition panels for the new Shermans. Made a few barrack's bags out of an old pair of jeans but the first try was a bust. So it's not perfect but there's a sense of accomplishment after having made 10 musette bags and sleeping bags so far. Ohh, also made some cups, buckets, a bottle of wine and two big hunks of French Cheese!

Join the rest of the world. Try being a classical musician, years of experience in Europe....then try to perform in the USA. Try working in a museum, with goals of preserving artifacts...but having to work under military regulations. Try getting a small tank part that shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks... and pay English prices and outrageous postage. Try to send any RC tank via USPS and have it arrrive without damage. Then go thru the hassle of claiming insurance for damage. Things that are supposed to make you feel good are subject to Murphy's law.

Swath, You stated previously about material for tarps, I went to an old navy store with my girlfriend to do some shopping, and low and behold I walked over to the "bargain" rack and found a pair of pants in this grey'ish color for 10 buckaroos turns out it worked great for simulating the tarp on a german transport vehicle and I have plenty left over for other projects, they even had a pair in an olive drab color, so for 10 bucks the pants served there purpose I don't wear them though because there is a big hole in the crotch.

Well, lad, first, my hats' off to you for your work. You could not pay me enough to do your job.
As for vendors, we all screw up from time to time. What are you looking for?
