Hey guys, I have an RCMK s254 evo waiting for a home, and was wondering if anyone has seen / used one of these hulls? Any advise appreciated.
Cheers, Chris

looks like a clone of the 41 stryker....if you make sure there is no hook in the hull and you set it up like a stryker or sprint cat then i dont see any reason it wouldnt be any good.  There might be quality issues with the hull and i didn't see any brand name.  ask the seller what the brand is, maybe they know...
looks nice tho and is plenty cheap!!

I had one, "spider" from ebay. It had a bad hook in the hull, heavy, compared to others, you can only run a wrap to centre header, transom very weak, sponson where very thin up the front.

Other than that, mine was more of a headache than a pleasure. Save up and buy a well known brand!!!!!!( I did )

cool, thanks fella's. I wasn't sure if it was the same hull as the "dreaded" spider from ebay. I'll steer clear and leave it alone. So i'm thinking this instead, not a huge fan of the look but from what I've read they seem to be an alright hull?? http://www.hobbydepot.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=35&products_id=430

That hull from George (Hobby Depot) is also a good runner & reasonably priced. It's similar to the F41 Striker too. He only does them in White now though. I was looking at getting one until I ran out of cash. Maybe next year.

I've got a Falcon 41 along with quite a few of the gas Cat guys in here. There's a few threads on them here also. Mine's been a blast so far. Mine is red but when I was looking at new hulls I was more torn between the yellow, magenta or lime green.
I bought mine used but was never finished and just a week ago dropped an RCMK Evo in it to replace the S-254. Now I have to wait until spring to see how fast it will be.

After having bought a couple of junk hulls from ebay, i Bought the same falcon from hobby depot and had no worries at all. It was delivered to my door within 4-5 days. I have all but praise for HD, but then again ive only had to deal with them the once!!!!
George also adds some extra timbers in the hull to give it a bit more strength. Since getting my falcon, ive had nothing but fun with it and no probs at all...She good for 55mph+.
I mainly deal with Tony from melbourne for every thing else, The type of bloke who will bend backwards to help you out for any thing.

I deal with both of them as they each stock different things I use. I have never had any problems with either, I always call to place my order, that way I know if they have what I need.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I'd love to buy a sprint cat but funds won't allow it. I am going to order the Falcon 41 in white. I am thinking of selling the S-254 EVO to my brother in law (he wants to order 1 anyway) and buying an RZ-254 EVO (rear exhaust) so I can keep the cowl in 1 piece, what do you think? Thanks again.
Cheers, Chris

Just looked at Scooter's pic and a 105* header looks like it will exit the rear on a side exh. engine?

yes the 105* header will bring the pipe out of the middle.

Hi Guys George here from HD

First of all thanks for the support good to see the comments (good or bad) helps us with our customer relations.

Now as for my style of JAG CAT we have them made in the same factory but with an additional layer of 220 matt glass and they also come with Bulk heads and above all the engine rails are much thicker and stronger we do this because the standard Falcon was lacking these requirements, these extras adds cost but I can say we have sold over 60 hulls and not one customer has complained about the performance or cost, all of our boats come with a serial number and our HD logo this insures you are buying my style and not the Falcon

We are always looking to expand our product and as of recent have included Speedmaster Hardware and Blazer Marine whiplash Kits, unlike all my other competitors we run a legitimate Company that caters not only for the Racing world but for the everyday person who wants to get out and have some fun.

We carry 99% of what is shown on our web site but you all must understand that we also have our store that has over 20 customers walk in everyday who purchase parts or other hobby items we carry and sometimes we don’t have the resource to update the web site and yes we get caught out. If something is not in stock we DO contact the customer ASAP and advise and I apologies if that’s not good enough.
