Status: offline 		A hard nose over on my P51 resulted in a cracked rudder & fin last weekend. I have a replacement fin & rudder. Of course the fin was set with 30 minute epoxy. I think I have an idea of how to approach the repair. I intend to cut the fin off as close to the fuse as I can, and then use a dremmel (with the fiberglass reinforced cutting wheel) to clean out the balsa/epoxy that is down in the slot in the fuse. Does anyone have any other/better suggestions?

Status: offline 		You might want to take a real close look at the fuselage where it meets the tail section. This area acted as the leverage point for the forces that damaged the fin.
