As an owner of a Nomadio React radio system I wasn't too happy to see the news about them deciding to get out of the hobby business.. I guess being a defense contractor is more profitable..LOL My initial reaction was to yank the radio out of my Baja 5B and put it on Ebay, but I just can't justify throwing out all that money and besides the radio is perfect and I never had a problem with it... I will continue to run it until it dies then make the final switchover to Spectrum.. I run them in the rest of my R/C's... I like the 4 channel features of the react and unfortunately Spektrum is only 3 channel... The Futaba is nice, but the price is way too high for my needs... Sorry to see them go, but life goes on.. At least they made the downloads available without having to re-register the radio with them...

Wow, that sucks to high hell, and they made such a promising and innovative radio.

Like I said before, they totally screwed over the hobby subsidiary by not subsidizing enough money into that venture to make it an actual profitable arm of their company. They insisted on using the same engineers, CS people, and reps who are primarily dedicated to DoD contacts instead of hiring more people and buying more support materials so that the hobby arm didnt have to siphon off people from their DoD contract people arm.

Sorry Nomandio, thumbs down on this
Nomandio made such a nice radio with BUILT-IN telemetry and with better reliability than it's closest telemetry competitor, Spektrum. They could have advanced further if they would have suck with it and also if they they addressed some other functional issues (addressing QC issues with their transceivers, mass producing more transceivers to meed market demand, address some of the quality issues of their Sensor cases). And these problems, especially the radio case issues, are very easy to fix.

I personally hope they do get back into the Hobby aspect again. I always wanted to get one of their radios, and I have been sitting back and holding off until they could address these problems (which in most cases are easy to fix). But I guess I waited too long.

Did Nomadio go under totally ? They manufactured the Sensor and React radios ?If Nomadio didn't go out of bussiness they should have to honner warranty .
Do you think Ford didnt warranty a line that was discontiued ? NO .... If they can do this to the consumer and get away with it ,its a sadder day in this country ,I can see one of these import companies doing this but good ole made in the USA.. [>:]
