No matter what, I cannot program more than 50* deflection on these servos, which translates to less than 45* travel in each direction with the Aurora 9 at 100% EPA.  It is not physically possible to get to 60*, EVER, so....what am I doing wrong.
Resetting the servo still doesn't get me there....and if I set the EPA all the way to 140%, then I get 45* max.

Is this the most there is -???- no more +/- 60* travel on these high-power digitals???

Whilst unable to get all three units together immediately, the following may answer your query.
Hitec HS-7955TG
Hitec HS-7955 Specification Sheet
Hitec Digital Servo Programming Instruction sheet for new HS-7XXX servos - refer to Resolution Mode Setting: "
There are two resolution modes (High & Normal) in HS-7XXX servos. Factory default is set at "High Resolution", and servo travel will be 120 degrees. If the user needs to widen the servo travel, the user may select "Normal" resolution so that the servo travel can be widened to a maximum of 180 degrees.
Hitec Digital Servo - FAQ
HS-7955TG is available ex some shops configured to operate 180° two ways. (pulse signal ranging from 600usec to 2400usec.)  with operating angle 45 or 90 deghree one side and also some advertise modifiable/modified ex store at 360 degree.

A.T> - This part of your information is completely incorrect, sorry to say.....The ones I have do NOT have 60* either side.

"Hitec Digital Servo Programming Instruction sheet for new HS-7XXX servos - refer to Resolution Mode Setting: "

Not a dual rate problem - what I'm describing is visible whilst programming with the HPP-21.  Several different 79xx series servos.  They are all consistent - at high resolution, the travel adjust will not get there on the programmer.

Relative servo Spec sheet states HS-7955TG,  as supplied ex stock,  operates only 40 (+or- 5) degrees each side as you have experienced.  As per post #2,
"If the user needs to widen the servo travel, the user may select "Normal" resolution so that the servo travel can be widened to a maximum of 180 degrees"

P
lease try switching servo to "Normal Mode" and advise if the arc can then be widened to provide the required swing.

Thanks
Alan

You have to take the servo out of the high resolution mode to be able to program more travel.

Thanks, Brendan.  I didn't read the instructions closely enough to catch that, and haven't had a chance to give it a try, yet.  But I have some elev. servos to reset, so will get to it soon.  I appreciate the reminder!!!
