Does anyone know what the differances are between these two truggies? (hyper mini and the jammin crt.5) They look like the same chassis to me. I am thinking of buying one but I would like to know the differance before I spend the money. Is it just the bodies?
Thanks

It's a more than the bodies. Similar, but different. Download the manuals for each and give'em a compare.

i'm running the c/c 4600kv sport system in the hyper. it is fast with stock gearing and 5000 mah lipo . so far it works great with no issues. i have the lipo cutoff set at 3.4v per cell and the motor timing set at 0 degree's. no cogging and smooth throttle responce. motor temps are around 150 consistently.

2 or 3s lipo? My friends have Jammin crt.5's with .12 nitro motors. I want to be able to run with them, I'm not sure if I should get the Castle Creation 4600kv or the 5700kv. Since you have both you are the perfect person to ask, about the speed of the nitro vs electric.

well the 4600 you can run up to 3s lipo.
the 5700 only 2s lipo.
as far as speed i'd say lipo would be faster than the nitro. i really can't remember how fast my crt .5 was with the 12 in it (has an os18tz in it now).
i'm running 2s 5000mah lipo's with stock gearing and it's very fast.
i'd go with the 4600 system and start with 2s lipo.if it's not fast enough put a 3s in it lol.

I got the Hyper Mini! It's all painted, the motor should come in the mail by Friday. My friends just got jammin crt.5 nitro's, they gave me a hard time about going electric, so I hope this little guy does ok against them.

My CRT .5 w/medusa on 3s lays waste to nitro guys. Instant torque lets me pull away with ease.

I have a Mamba Max Pro with a 5700kv motor on the way. I am going to run it on a 3s lipo, to run with the nitro boys.
