I'm considering getting one of these and putting a 91-100 4-stroke up front. Does anybody have one? Would this model be a good intro into precision and 3D aerobatics?

Thanks!

I've put a request in to my LHS to order one of these... The Yellow Aircraft .60 size Suhkoi.. I'm interested too in finding out what others think of it.. I have the .30 size and it's nice.

There is one of each flying at my field.
The big one has a Saito 180 in it and the smaller one has a YS 91.
They both fly GREAT!!!
You can get them at www.sheldonshobbies.com
The glass cowls are beautiful, all the louvers are functional and the big Sukhoi fuse has large wing fillets on it.

Tell em Chuck sent ya.

For the 60 size sukhoi I'd go with the ys 91. It is more powerfull then the saito 100. I get about 650 rpm over the 100 with the same size prop. Plus its cheaper then the 100 at central hobbies. Provided you haven't bought the saito yet, If you have I'm sure it will work great also.......Dave

I just finished my .60 sized Su-Do-Khoi.
I put a Saito 1.20 in it. Perfect.
Its one of the easiest hovering planes I/ve flown. Kit was a kinda a nightmare but the end results are worth it.

I have the 60size sukhoi right now .just recieved it a week ago and it is a great plane went thru it and found no problems at all.
I have a new saito 91Golden knight for it and i am sure that will be just fine for it. Dont need to fly it out of sight want to enjoy looking at it they are very good looking.

I second wgeffon,

The YS 91 is perfect for the yellow .60 size planes. I have one in my Extra and it pulls it with great vertical. And you can mount the YS inverted without any issues...

Nickbee,

Do you know anyone running a Saito inverted? A friend of mine just bought a Yellow .60 Extra. He says his muffler wont clear the bottom of the cowl on his Saito .91. I told him to run it inverted. He says that he heard of problems doing that. I didnt think so. But, I thought I'd look for another opinion.

Wayne, I have run Saitos inverted (both the large and small ones). I use an os type F plug and have had absolutely no problems. It is necessary to lean the low end to keep them from loading at idle. cbk
