Status: offline 		I would buy a new replacement antenna instead of trying to solder the pieces. Why take a chance.

Status: offline 		I soldered one and it holds very well. its on an R/C car and there is a glitch everyonce in a while but nothing major. But w/ a heli i wouldnt chance it

Status: offline 		39 inches of new wire is in order. Size wise, get as close as you can to what you have from somewhere like radio shack. OR, this may be a good time to consider a loaded antenna which makes you heli a lot cleaner looking. Last resort, snd me a buck for postage and I'll send you the 39 inches of wire you need
