Yes 1/8 ply is to thin, Go thicker or epoxy some 1/8 together! But 1/8 is not thick enough forsure to hold landing gear and do use blind nuts epoxy them in also making sure you do not get epoxy in the treads.

Are you sure you'll be able to handle all that power? That 95 will pull (2) 6 1/2 lb. Big Stick 60's!

lol

My plan is to fly it in the Big Stik for as long as possible then eventually move it to either a Twist 60 or a Revolver 60

opjose - thanks. With my old SK90 engine, i would have problems with a dead stick, similar to the person that posted the same issue with his Funtana 50. I cut and pasted your reply to my email for quick reference.

Basically, when i would go vertical, the engine would run fine. But when I throttled back from full to say mid throttle while the model was in vertical position, the engine would stall. I checked the tank and did a presure test and it was fine. But just in case, I ordered a new plug and stopper kit for the tank. I'll switch out all the fuel lines too.

Here is a problem I have had with one of my SK .91 in a scratch built plane. As soon as my fuel tank burns off about 1/4 the tank is so far away from the engine it wouldn't draw fuel due to lack of pressure. The tank is 8.5 inches away and mounted too low. Today I tried another engine in the plane, an OS .91FS, same thing. I'm going to try {no room} to get the fuel tank higher but I think I will be getting a fuel pump for my SK and just be done with fooling around. That OS you bought is outstanding!!!!

Your experience with that company must be better than mine. I bought a 50cc gas engine from Tom Johnson at the AMA convention on the 9th. He said it would ship on the 11th. On the 20th I called and they gave me some story about replacing the carb blocks. I've tried calling for the past two weeks and don't even get someone picking up the phone. Same with numerous emails to them.

Frankly, I'm NOT impressed with them and will probably have to take legal action to get my money back.
