I got to sleep eventually, but only because i dont have all the parts to finish it . I got all screws locktited and or tightened down. Need to get a motor, exhaust, radio, servos, and kill switch and ill be ready to run i think.

Oh definitely. Hitting anything with this will be a no no. I dont want the city coming after me cause i ran down a light pole

I got the cy 28.9cc with stuffed crank. Gf bought it for me as a christmas present, was like 209 after shipping with a coupon.

Who Needs Sleep That's a Great Motor, it's going to fly. Derek is the spring on the clutch bright red or dull red? If the spring is dull red or you are unsure of what stall rpm that spring is let me know and I will ship you out a true 8000 rpm stall spring for the clutch.

Im not sure, i mean it looks kinda bright red, but i dont know how bright it should be for the high stall one. If you put a high stall (8000rpm) spring in, will it make it uncontrollable at take off? Since its 2wd i wanna make sure it doesnt get totally squirelly and hard to control.

Ya its massive, you really dont realise how big it is untill you see it. Even seeing pictures i couldnt believe how big the car, and the parts were. Like the shocks are huge.

The High stall spring will make it nice and snappy off the line. The low stall springs tends to make it bog off the line a bit. If you are concerned about it sliding HPI makes a driff control box for the 5B. It corrects the steering servo to keep the car going straight.

I mean i would be able to control it, i just dont wanna be sliding every time i go full throttle. I do love spinnin the tires, but i dont want it to be exessive you know what i mean? I know gas is gonna be different than nitro, but i hated my buddies rustler with a passion. You couldnt keep it straight on pavement full throttle for more than 2 feet. I could always keep the stock spring in, or go with the high stall one, and then i can switch it out if i wanna change it up.

careful with that "stuffed" crank stuff... it's been known to fall apart inside the engine. Good ole putty horror stories

Now you just need a pipe to go with that... to really wake up that engine.

If those still have the same hex hubs, i'd get the Baja hubs so you can fit BAJA wheels/tires.

The Pegs melt out of the crank when they are run too Hot. Normally when they are run with too little or no 2 stroke oil.
