I have a RCD 3200 (futaba) Hitec RX that has given me flawless service for 2 or 3 years. Today when I turned on the radio and RX all the servos began jittering like either the battery was low or some sort of interference.
Occasionally it would stop and everything would work just fine. Sometimes it malfunctioned evertime I turned it on sometimes not.
Obviously, I didn't fly.
Opon arrival at home I swapped RX's for the Futaba factory RX that came with my 8UAF. And everything worked just fine. I installed the Hitec RX in another plane and it malfunctioned again.
I also switched crystals back and forth to eliminate that as a possibility. No difference; Hitec RX bad; Futaba RX good.
So I would like to know if it is worth getting it checked out or is it more cost effective to simply get a new one.

It's always worth sending it in first. We may be able to repair it at no charge, but if there were to be a charge we would let you know and you could deside if it was worth it or not at that time.
