RE: P-38 SuperCharger Pictures
G-Pete,
Thanks for the clarification and pictures.
Apparently I am not the only one to mis-label them; even the documentation, schematics and pictures that AT-6 provided refer to them as superchargers.
Since I am not making them functional I only need to see what they look like on the outside.
Thanks Again
Bill

G-Pete,
Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it! I was not looking forward to building my own vacuum forming table.
How big can you form an object? I have a rather large canopy I will need to pull.
Thanks Again

Bill, with a 1/4 scale P-38 these roll down windows are pretty large - this should be tempting to make them operable. At least you can open the top and remove the windows. That would look like the windows are rolled down.
Here are the rough measurements for the 1/4 scale 38

G-Pete,
You think like I do!
I plan on making at least one window roll down (servo operated) as well as hinging the overhead canopy.
Mechanically there is plenty of room for the roll down, I still am working out the hinge and latch mechanisn for the overhead canopy (I don't want the canopy to unlock and tear off in flight)

JRMS, if no one else can help I can do parts up to 34" once I get my newest machine back up... Had to replace heaters with more heavy duty elements! The multi-peice idea sounds better IMHO...
