Jet Legend Mig-29, SU-27, FB SU-27...
I was curious if anyone had any information regarding the Jet Legend Mig-29 and/or SU-27 ARF, as information and pictures seem to be scarce on these two particular models? I was strongly considering the Skymaster Mig-29 until I came across the Jet Legend kits.
How does the quality of Jet Legend compare to Skymaster? Are they considered to be equal, or is one a step up or down from the other? I noticed the Skymaster kits are generally more expensive, and I'm not sure if you get what you pay for in this case?
One thing I do like about the Jet Legend Mig-29 is it appears to be more scale than the Skymaster version. Unfortunately there aren't many detailed or close-up pics of the JL Mig though to compare. Same goes for the JL SU-27.
Also, the Fei Bao SU-27 has caught my attention as well. Judging from the pictures, this kit appears to have a lot of nice scale details, including the vents for the gun, and air brake, etc. Again, how do Fei Bao kits compare in quality to Skymaster? And based on reputation alone, would you lean towards a Fei Bao SU-27 or a Jet Legend SU-27?
Argh, I thought I finally settled down on a jet, now I've got these others to consider.
Appreciate any input once again!

RE: Jet Legend Mig-29, SU-27, FB SU-27...
I have the Mig 29 on order and should see it within the first couple of weeks of 2010. From experience I can say that the JL product is excellent - but I am biased having already bought the 1/6 F16, Gripen & T45. The build quality of JL is really sound but there is no doubt that they continue to improve with each new release. The Gripen is a fairly old release and as such is not as "polished" as the T45 and F16, and I absolutely can't wait to see the Mig as I reckon it will show that JL have stepped up another notch.
JL (Spark) have a wonderful reputation for their landing gear, and when you see the engineering in the F16 scale UC you will be astounded at the value for money. However as usual, manufacturers can run into problems with some of their components and this was very true of the air cylinders in the F16 UC which showed up as air leaks and alignment problems, but I will hand to the factory (Yang) and my local JL distributor (Jeremy Daly), they kept working through the problem with me and even supplied a complete new set of UC to remove all the issues, all this was done with minimal prompting.
As soon as the Mig arrives, I will start a build thread and post plenty of photo's (good, bad or indifferent) so keep an eye out for them.
Shane.

RE: Jet Legend Mig-29, SU-27, FB SU-27...
We have back orders on all of them,
FB SU27 is smaller than JL SU27, but have great rivets, panel lines, scale gear, details. good for up to 2 P80 size engines.
JL MIG 29 - saw it in person during prototype development stage. Gear precision is great, as known in most of the new JL kits. Just got the first inventory in our facility. Will take some close up photos.
JL SU27 - still working on it. I am pretty sure that the L/G and metal parts are top notch.
Here are some photos of FB SU27 for your reference. Will post MIG 29 later after getting some photos.
You can view these specification at our website www.globaljetclub.com

This is one of our JETFX custom painted, detailed and finished versions of the FB SU-27. The moulded and gear detail on this model is some of the very best I have seen yet and I mean anywhere...
I would seriously like to see some nice detail photos of the Jet Legend Mig-29 also and see how they compare as the Mig-29 is definetely one of my favorites.

Thank you for the feedback guys. Can't wait to hear your report on the JL Mig Aussie Bart, and I look forward to any photos of the JL Mig kit from you guys. Those photos of the FB SU-27 do look great, and yes from what I can tell the detail does look very good. Tough decision ahead!

Which Mig 29 version is JL doing? The "OVT" model that others are doing or the older mig models like the 29-3? I do like the vectoring of the OVT but I like the lines of the older migs.
