Hi Guys,
One of my dreams was to own one of each of the Tamiya battle tanks. I came close this past summer when I had all except the Panzer IV and the KV I. Since the Pzr IV doesn't intrigue me much and the KV does even less to thrill me, I guess having six of the eight was as close as I was going to ever get. I love my tanks but the Jagdpanther is brand new and so clean that I wouldn't run it on the battlefield. So I have decided to sell it. I have listed it on Ebay and I hope it goes to a good home. It would be great to see it in battle with a NEAD member or at Danville. Read the auction description as it has many Impact upgrades(metal tracks, gearboxes w/ reductions/motors, optional IR battle system), custom features, and a new radio modified for tank battling. It comes complete with everything you need to run it including two batteries and all chargers and manuals. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Here is the link.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230413058589&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Hi all,

That looks like a great ebay deal, the kit and parts would cost you easily $1200.00 plus and I'd buy your model if I already hadn't built a Jagdpanther and have a little over $1200. bucks into it.

UPS Canada Ground, to you, should be under $40.00 and I did a rough 3 day delivery estimate for you out of curiosity. The Jagdpanther is one of Tamiya's best looking and best running kits, I wouldn't think twice about buying this one and the hard work is all done too.

John

Hi Guys,

Thank you for the kind words....
I had over 425 "Hits" and 28 "Watchers". Bids came in from three countries. The best part is the winning buyer is from the Carolinas so maybe this tank will make it to the tank battlefield at the AAF Tank Mus. in Danville. Although I don't look forward to battling against it, I do enjoy promoting this hobby and this forum. Winter has arrived here in full force in northern NJ. It was 16 degres last night and everything is fullY covered with a thick blanket of snow. I have four or so tanks in the pipeline waiting their turn on my primary workbench for completion. Two used that I will rebuild, one brand new that was an unfninished project and a finished tank that was a "shelf queen". I will decide which ones to keep or sell/trade when they are done. My fellow N E A D members will get the first shot at them though. One tank is a K T which is one of the few tanks I've never ever battled with. I've only had it for two 1/2 years but is is almost battle ready. I have been custom making a Jagdpanzer Pzr I V "Lang" for the past year. I really want to get that Pzr IV Tank Hunter done but it is very time consuming and other things keep popping up like this Jagdpanther I just sold.
Too many tanks and not enough time. Has anyone else noticed this problem??? Thanks again guys, Bob Thecommandernj

I find that when I have "Extra or more" money I can make time by working less. But without more time nothing gets done at all.............
