Here is my 100 dollar truggie. I am planning on completely rebuilding it from ground up. It was a winner in SC and Im hoping to get my foot in the door with it up here in ohio.  As far as I can see it needs new universals a few new servos and cleaned up maybe some new wheel bearings but for the price or what i got I cant complain.

Add a full set of front/rear and center CV's and your at what you paid for the thing.....imo buying used can be a risky deal....you Never REALLY know what your getting till you do what your doing now......Tear it all down and check for yourself....good luck with what you got.

You can definately score CVDs on ebay for 1/3 the normal price. Just keep your eye open. I did and scored some great deals on CRT parts.

I got it all back together with new screws. With the lack of CVDs it seems to be ok. Seems that the things i need are all the high dollar hard to find things.
Steering knuckles, CVDs all the way around and a front shock stay. But I did fire it up and she screams. I cant wait.

That was a great deal but if you threw in another $150 you could have had this SH ZMXT-8

I dont want an off brand truck. And after looking not many hooby shops support this brand. If I was gonna go that route I would go with redcat. Atleast there support is off the wall. but I am happy with my truck. I am happy after I replace everything i need to I am still under budget on a brand new one. Sure if  Iwant something to just tear up I would go with XTM or Duratrax but those cant compare to the big dogs. Sorry.

Yea, take it from me..... Buy a GOOD brand name.  My very first nitro was an offbrand, was nothing but a headache from the start.  If nothing else fails Losi has a rtr 8ight for 800 bucks.  Different sites have them for different prices.  I have one on order now!!!!

Knuckles are on ebay for $20. CVDs are on ebay for around $20. Not too bad of a price.
