Has anyone had expierence with bondo fiberglass resin? It seems that it is the only type that i can find and that is at a local Home Depot. How will this effect foam, will it melt it or have any other adverse reactions with it? Or are there any other alternative epoxies that are easliy located?

Bondo resin is a polyester laminating resin that will most definitely dissolve foam. Also, because it is a laminating resin it does not contain any wax and will cure "air inhibited" (translate that to "stickey" . What are you planning to do with resin? Knowing that you can get a more definitive answer to your questions. Regards.

If it looks like this:

Then, it's their polyester resin and it'll eat foam.

Look for Bondo's marine resin.

It looks like this:

The Bondo marine resin is an epoxy like any other consumer-level two-part epoxy and is completely foam safe. It comes with two metal cans held together with what looks like saran wrap. One can is the resin and the other is the hardener.

I've bought the marine resin at my local Lowe's.

Thanks for the warning, the first was the one i was looking at so i'll have to look around for another epoxy. Any suggestions for a company or brand?
