It doesn't ring a bell with me, though it somehow looks familiar. There is no wing to help this and there appears to be no hatch access though from this image one cannot be sure. The seller says it is control line but I don't know if I buy that. I think it may be a free flight myself.

Larry,

That was going to be my first guess too. But look at the top of the "fuse" there does seem to be a couple of pegs sticking out the side of it. Looks like they could be wing hold downs being that there is the flat area at the top of the "fuse". What ever it was it was a tether/control line deal. But then again the undercariage doesn't look flyable more like something for ground running. I say the seller never did anything with it themselfs due to it not have a pusher prop on it with the factory spring starter.

LAter,
Tim

There's an old twin boom FF pusher design that comes to mind, maybe I'll see it by accident thumbing through an old mag in the can. Might be what you're thinking of too. The undercarriage is certainly ungainly, but some people just put huge LG on their scratch-built models. With enough wing the .020 would push it around still.

After zooming in on it, looks like some one bashed it together. The one I had looked like that but the body was a little different. It did have the high stance and was always upsidedown. They were run with a single wire , with a Y harness at the body to make them run in a circle ( front and rear mount)

Gents;

This is clearly a case of a home-made teather car ...

The two "pegs" sticking out the top RH side are the locations
for the connections of the Y-shaped teather connector.
I suspect there are I-bolts protruding on the LHS and that
those same I-bolts protrude through the RHS of the body
as shown.

Regards,
Flypast111
