After doing a few modifications to the pump it looks like it's good to go . Time to start prepping the boat for paint.

John , It's not pearl base paint . I did however mist the whole boat with white pearl base just before applying the clear .
Got everything installed except floatation .

Dana, will you be wet testing before you hand it over to the owner? Maybe a quick vid?

John , I was going to test it but it's still snowing here and the testing pond is still pretty low . A few rocks showing . I decided to ship it to the customer and hopefully hear back from him on the results . I'm pretty confident it will be awesome .

Hey all I am the lucky one to get this boat from Dana.  I have not received it yet but it looks to arrive on Thursday the 12th.  I will be posting a video of it as soon as I have a chance.  I want to go over it and check it all out and get it all set up with my radio first.  Plus I will probably just want to stare at it for hours.    I am very anxious to see how it runs too.  With the trim it might shoot a nice rooster tail!  Cant wait...

Thanks again Dana!

Mark

Hey everyone just an update on my progress with the jet boat.  I got the boat from Dana W. and we tried starting it and got it to run but noticed the pump wasnt connected.  We reconnected the pump and tried to restart and broke the pull starter.  Seems like the RCMK motors have a cheap pull start setup.  I ordered an Arrowshark Electric start 3.  I am installing it now and it works great.  I had to remove the servo box and relocate the servos due to the starter taking up space.  Anyway hope to have it up and running by this weekend.  I will post some pics in the next few days of the progress and hopefully be getting some videos this weekend.

@ The Ghost-  Nice video.  What kind of pump is mickieb49 using in that boat and what kind of motor?  Sounds rather peppy.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi All,

Well it's ready to get wet, just have to wait for the weather to improve, blown 60-70km/h and has been wet on and off for the last couple of days.

Cheers

Hi All,
Got out this morning for a quick run. Just a short shake down run, will need engine adj and retrimming of the jet drive outlet, also found the throtal servo is bad, will have to swap it out as well.

Cheers

Hi Mate, still packing up boxes, get about 3 weeks to move, then have to build a shed to put all my crap into, so maybe 6-8 weeks away before i can even think of doing boats. I will give you a ring later.

Hi All,
Replaced the servos and RX power, Trying out some different servos, repositioned the trim adj and adj linkage. It goes quite well, as it's cost me less than $300 to build. Will run it for a while now to get some use out of it before I hop up or replace the engine with something better.
Having problems uploading photos.
