Status: offline 		I have two rolls of Black Barron Super Coverite which I was going to use on a 1/4 scale Cub. I was wondering, how would one go about finishing it. It is an iron on fabric and it has no pigment, it is totally paintable. This is my first project of this sort. Any advise would be helpfull. Thanks Jim

Status: offline 		Jim, you are in the wrong area. You should post this question in the Kit Building forum. ARF means Almost Ready to Fly as supplied by the manufacture and although many in this forum can answer your question, you will get a better response from building.

Super Coverite is an iron on fabric that is applied directly over balsa framing. Balsarite is recommended to prep the bare wood.It then requires finishing with either dope or the stits finishing products. It is work intensive, but the results can be very rewarding for a scale competitor. You might consider using Century 21 Fabric. It irons on and is prefinished. If you want to sell the Super Coverite, I will buy it at some reasonable price.
