Matt,

I just installed my new 120 and when I plug in the battery pack
for the turbine, the starter motor engages and runs. Doesn't matter if the Rx is on or off.
I also noticed I get a blank screen on the GSU. I have only let the motor run about 4 seconds. All connections are per instructions.
Any suggestions......

Sounds like you might have gotten one of mis-wired cables.

When you say the cable ends match up, did you also check the orientation of the wires to the mechanical cut out? (it is a 2 step process, if both checks are not correct it is a problem.

Just want to make sure there is not something going on we do not understand?

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Matt,

When I originally read the thread describing the bad cable, I
thought if the ends plugged into each other and wire colors matched, the cable was ok. However, "upon further investigation"
they are indeed soldered incorrectly. I have the cable and ECU packaged up for retorn. Don recommended that I call Bob Wilcox
to get a replacement. Is this ok??

Thanks,
rb

Call Bob, I talked to him about 20 minutes ago, he is expecting your call.

Sorry for this, hopefully we can get you back in the air soon.

Matt:

When those Black Forest, backward plug-wiring, gentlemen appear this week in your neighborhood, please remind them that Octoberfest doesn't start until October........ Till then, have them keep it down to (1) O'Douls before bed.... :>))

Boy you got that right! I am going to be "reminding" them of a lot of stuff I can assure you!

Although I heard they are coming "bearing gifts" both small and BIG....they know how things work I think!!
