I think that i just found the inspiration for the tamiya lunchbox.

Its a monstervan from back in the day.

Bingo! That's what Tamiya looked at to create the lunchbox back in the 80's.
I'm surprized you used your head to figure it out. The Rollin' Thunder Monster Truck.
If you look at the difference in todays monster trucks, they dont weight 20,000 pounds like Rollin' Thunder did back then.

The redcat one is actually a model version of the new one

BUT i found a rc version of the old one too.

So redcat wasn't the one with the idea of the yellow hulk.
The 1:1 appears to use a 03-06 Silverado style body.
The old RC one looks like it uses a Clod chassis.

@mad modder, im pret sure that the old ground pounder rc does use a clod chassis.

I think its just a clod that someone has tried to make, more realistic!!

 the vettes name is really, really origional.  MONSTER VETTE!!  hahaha.
